• Cloned first widget and then after that quit working.

Also, when you deactivate this plugin. You get warnings that you have duplicate widget ids, so you have to delete and recreate the widgets.

We would advise against using this plugin.

Thanks for the feedback – we will take a look at these issues and apply updates.
For future reference, simply leaving 1 star feedback doesn’t achieve much – for you, or for the rest of the WordPress community. You could easily have dropped us a message and we could have solved these issues – that way you benefit and so does every other WordPress user looking for a plugin like this.

    Hi @rockethead2,

Just to let you know the plugin has been updated so that you can keep cloning widgets multiple times. Previously you would have had to refresh the page before cloning a widget again, but it would have continued working.

With regard to deactivating the plugin – it would be good to hear more about exactly the issue you are experiencing. The plugin scans the existing widgets for the highest widget ID number and then adds 1 to this number when cloning, so it should never be the case that widget IDs are duplicated.

Would much appreciate if you could let me know more details about this issue.

    Thanks!

i just installed it and it doesn’t work for me

Please could you explain further what you mean by ‘doesn’t work’?
Have you tried disabling other plugins and seeing if this fixes it?

    Thanks!

since the only function of this plugin is cloning widgets, “it doesn’t work” means that it does not clone widgets. i will try what you suggested and let you know

    thanks

Appreciate your response… To rephrase the question:

What happens when you click ‘clone’? Do you get an error? Does anything happen at all? Are you trying to clone a standard WordPress widget, or a widget that has come as part of a plugin?

    Thanks again!

Hello, it is working now ??

when it was not working, nothing happened when i clicked on clone, no error message, it only closed the widget and it was not cloning it, i hope it helps.

I installed the plugin, it didn’t come with the theme
