  • Doesnt tell you about size limit until restore time. Extremely misleading and frustrating. Wasted time.

    Same issue–I thought I had backups but realize my entire site is gone unless I pay the extortion fee. It’s just like ransomware. There MUST be a warning at the time you backup your site that because it is over the limit you will have to pay $69 if you ever want to see your data again! Super aggravating!

    Fully agree…. It’s a common issue between most backup/migration plugins available that they do not warn you beforehand that your backup size exceeds their “free” version’s limit to restore. So yes at the end of the day it does behave like Ransom Ware.

    In my personal opinion, plugins that could hold you to ransom like this should be banned on www.remarpro.com.
