Doesn’t show whether files are in my Media Library or not.
-
I end up importing the same files over and over and over and over, because this does not show that any files are “Already in my Media Library.”
Scans ????
Imports ????
…but it doesn’t show that a file is already in my Media Library and “Files already in Media Library will be skipped during import” obviously DOESN’T skip any files already in my Media Library. After import, the imported file is highlighted in yellow, but after re-scanning, all the files listed once again look the same.
(So I end up with duplicate files in my Media Library, but just ONE is literally in my FTP client. And if I delete one of the duplicates from the Media Library that file is gone from the FTP folder and gone from the Scan page (so it’s gone!), but it still shows up in my Media Library, [even in a different browser]. Hmmmm, I don’t think this is workable)
(What’s also strange is that using Media Sync’s “Filter Media Library” button (“Use this to see Media Library items that are missing actual files.”), it lists ALL my image files as Unattached. But WordPress is not very reliable there anyway, even my Media Library lists about half my images as Unattached when they are very obviously being used.)
