• Disappointed that this doesn’t work because the X (formerly known as Twitter) developers site’s code for embedding the timeline doesn’t work at all. This plugin was hopeful in that the timeline appears in a sidebar widget on the website but it only shows retweets of followed X accounts that appear in the account’s feed. It doesn’t show any tweets done by the account. It also takes at least a week to even show a retweet that was done so it isn’t timely for those. Certainly not worth spending money on the pro version that would allow you to include more than one timeline if it can’t show the basic function. I’m not interested in including other timelines anyway–just show my own.

    Hey @lillylark,

Thank you for leaving us a review! We used to be able to display an account’s “Home Timeline”, however, due to the changes made to the X API which is not available to us anymore, we had to create a new solution. We can display posts made on the selected handle, the so-called “User Timeline” which will include retweets, but the ‘Home Timeline’ API does not exist in the same way and can not be displayed with our plugin, free nor Pro.

There is still the ability to display any public User Timeline using our plugins, and the free plugin does get one update per week due to the limitations of our new solution – each update costs us additionally, and as such the free version is limited in this regard. The Pro versions, depending on the license, will provide 12-24 updates per day.

For details on how these changes affected the plugin please see our documentation here.

If there is anythinge else we can do to bring your opinion of the plugin to a 5-star experience, we would love to hear it. It may be that some expectations were not set correctly on our end here causing your frustrating experience!

    Many thanks,
    Joel
