Doesn't show on website

  • I just installed Lively Chat on a Jupiter Theme website. All plugins and WP are up to date. I went through the settings and set everything up but no chat box appears.

    The Jupiter theme has a Quick Email box in the Footer, which works. I tried turning it off in case there was a conflict with your footer plugin but, again, nothing happened. Except now no Quick Email (until I turn it back on).

    Any help would be appreciated!

    It looks like there is a JS error in your theme in /jupiter/js/theme-scripts.js, line 1528. It is causing Lively to not function.

    [Error] TypeError: 'undefined' is not an object (evaluating '$(this).attr("href").split')

    If you don’t know how to fix it, send me access to the WP Admin area ([email protected]).

    Hi Dallas, if you can fix this issue it would be great! And it might be a good idea to let the Jupiter author know about their error so that can fix the theme. Otherwise when they issue an update I’ll be back to it not working again!

    Hello Dallas,

    I installed the plugin and no chat box appears, online offline mode is there. I think you should fix this in your plugin because every wordpress site is supposed to have lot of plugins so a normal user cannot go and fix js issues and you also cannot go and fix this in every user’s site.
