• “Authentication error: Oauth returns error auth response.
Sorry, no matching services were returned. Click here to return to your site.”

One time it managed to load to twitter so I can authorize it and after I authorized the app and said success it redirected back to a page that said the above error message as well. I don’t know if it’s just timing out or something but it’s currently not working for me.

    Hi Seraphyx,

From my experience so far, this is usually caused by some form of corporate/business firewall (which is stripping the return data), are you doing this from work? If so, would you be able to try from a home connection?

No I am accessing this from my home computer which doesn’t have a very strict firewall. I will try again on a fresh install to see if I still run into the issue. Maybe there were windows updates installed that caused it to not work properly but I kind of doubt that was the issue.

    Hi Seraphyx,

Thanks for letting me know and I am sorry you have experienced problems with the plugin.

The error you received means that when you arrived back to our server from Twitter, none of the expected data was found. This issue has come up several times and has, so far, always been tracked back to the user being inside a corporate/government network.

It is a very difficult problem to debug, due to the variety of software, hardware and network configuration that could possibly be involved on each users PC. I will try my best to identify the problem with any information you can give me.

I just installed Kebo again and I had absolutely no issues this time. It connected fine with no problems or errors.

I have not made any changes to my PC or firewall since I last used Kebo a few days ago so I’m not sure what was going on the first time. The only thing I could think of is the windows updates like I said but I’m not sure if that would cause problems with this specific situation. I know that sometimes if updates are installed but I don’t restart immediately some programs don’t run properly or just crash. I don’t know if that was actually what happened but I have no idea what else it could have been.

I’m also not sure if this is possible but if there isn’t some sort of log or report maybe that can be implemented so we can send over any information that gets logged. Will edit my rating and original post once I’ve messed around with the plugin a bit. Sorry I don’t have anymore useful information.

    Hi Seraphyx,

That is good news, I am really pleased that it works now.

It is indeed very strange, perhaps it was also something ISP related which was short term.

Your suggestion for a better way to report issues is a great idea, I have already worked in an internal report system into my next plugin, but I could also have it automatically send certain debug information too.

Thank you for the suggestion and letting me know what happened. If you run into any more issues let me know.
