Doesn't seem to initiate properly.. Am I missing something?

    Having just installed and activated the plugin, and set the settings, I’m a bit confused as to how it works. When I load a page, the 5 grey stars appear, but that’s it. Nothing happens when I hover over them, or click them.

    There are no issues with JS / CSS loading, and no errors are flagging up. Also, I’ve selected the option to display the text (numbers) as well as the stars so I can highlight the data in Google, and this is not displayed either.

    Is there an extra step to getting this plugin to work?

    What shortcode did you included in your post?

    [yasr_overall_rating] or [yasr_visitor_votes] ?

    I wasn’t using any shortcode, doesn’t it work automatically?

    The stars show up on the pages, just nothing happens when hovering over them.

    Ok, so I guess you’re using auto insert; in the settings, in the “Auto insert options”, what did you selected?

    I’m unable to tell you, as I’ve uninstalled the plugin now. Is it not a common problem you’ve heard of before then?

    I can’t answer this, as I need to know the settings before.
    I guess you were just using the wrong settings ( you was using overall rating instead visitor votes)

    Whoops, that’s exactly what I was doing. (Sorry I didn’t read that correctly, although it didn’t seem very clear to me that it turned off the ability for visitors to vote).

    All seems working okay now, sorry!
