Doesn't seem to do much

How couldn’t you see any improvement? We can test together if you want!

Hello Some Thing, can you provide your URL for us to do some testing. At the same time can you enable all the features while we do the test as long as none break your site.

Other factors to check if a cache plugin does not work.

1. How many plugins do you have installed?
2. Do you have more than one cache plugins running?
3. Are you using CDN?
4. Does your theme work well with cache plugins?
5. Is your website new or old with many images and other scripts running on the background?
6. Who is your Host?
7. Are you running Litespeed, Apache or windows server?
8. Are you on a shared, pro, VPS or Dedicated server?

The above is just a few points that can help you understand the server and backend of your website. Then you could also check your current system”Locally” are you running Windows, Linux or Mac? Do you have a fast machine or slow machine? What browsers are you using to run your test? Are your browsers up to date? Are they also up to date with plugins, adons?

I hope the above can provide some insight on your current website and this plugin.

Thanks for your help. I’m sorry but I missed Emre’s question (I didn’t see a WP notification about it).

I since changed my setup completely and I can’t do those tests.

I didn’t have many data- and RAM-intensive plugins installed, but I had only 512 MB of RAM and I admit maybe that played a role so I changed from 2 to 3 stars.

Although it doesn’t matter, I’ll try to answer these since you are trying to help:
– Do you have more than one cache plugins running? No
– Are you using CDN? No
– Does your theme work well with cache plugins? I may have tried another one but I can’t remember.
– Is your website new or old with many images and other scripts running on the background? –
– Who is your Host? Digital Ocean, all SSD but not much RAM.
– Are you running Litespeed, Apache or windows server? At the time Apache
– Are you on a shared, pro, VPS or Dedicated server? VPS, 512 MB RAM, Ubuntu 12.04 x64.

You can consider this solved since I rebuilt my server using a different approach so no comparable tests can be done at the time.
Also since then PHP5 was updated and at the time I was suspecting that PHP5 FPM caching was misbehaving, but I couldn’t confirm it.

Again, I am not saying the plugin is bad or that it doesn’t work, I’m just saying it didn’t seem to work and to improve on such impression it would be nice to have a way to tell what’s going on (is it not having (using) much RAM at its disposal, what’s the cache hit ratio, etc.) and that would make it much easier to use.

Pro’s: Nice GUI, clean installation and uninstallation.

Hi Some Thing, thank you for replying back and providing the information as illustrated above.

Your old setup of 512mb for a VPS would have caused problems for a WordPress website in the long run.

Thank you also for adding another star. I am sure that @emre Vona will be happy for your kind support. He will read this and maybe implement some extra features. However his goal is to make it a very slim and simple cache plugin.
