Doesn’t search product category names

    I need a search bar that if you search for a product category or sub, it will return a result of products within those categories or subs. I tried turning on category and tag searches in settings but it didn’t work.

    Well, actually its works like that for now.

    If you type tag or category name in the search field you will get products with this category or tag.

    Maybe you have problems with indexing products content. Then you need to click on ‘Reindex table’ button.

    I actually resolved this issue already by using Search Manager Lite plugin. It was easy to setup to choose additional search factors such as tags and categories. Works perfectly for me.

    I’ve never reindexed my tables, so once I Googled that, it lead me to a very helpful article that includes a how to for this as well as some other useful tips. Good idea, thanks for the info!
