    Hi,

Doesn’t post since last update. When I uninstall and install the plugin again, will the settings I have now still be there?

    Thanks

Hi @okoth1 The best way to do a clean uninstall is to go to “General Settings” and scroll down to “Housekeeping”, check the option and save your changes.

Then deactivate and delete the plugin. At this point ALL your settings will be deleted(lost), so on reinstall you’d need to setup the plugin again.

I’m curious as to why the sharing stopped for you, are you referring to Facebook? If so, then please try reconnecting your Facebook account

Hi @uriahs-victor. It stopped for both Twitter and Facebook. I deactivated and activated the plugin (that usually helps) but still no share. Next post is within 2.5 hours, see if it will this time.

The log stays empty. Nothing there. I don’t have time today to check the cron or uninstall the plugin, but I will over the weekend, and it will probably be solved. Still it’s interesting to know why it happened.

Sorry I can’t give you more info than this at this time.

One pre-sales question. The pro version can share on social media both on post publish as well as sharing old posts, right?

    Cheers

@okoth1 Try reconnecting both your accounts to the plugin before trying the uninstall procedure.

Regarding your presales question, yes, the free version can do that as well, the pro version adds for functionality such as custom messages for the “Post on publish” feature and sharing of WP Scheduled posts, in addition to sharing old posts on autopilot

OK, thanks, I will. I’ll do Twitter first. Less of a hassle than Facebook…

I did Twitter first. We’ll see in 2 hours time. At least the logo got back under the Accounts tab. Has been away long time.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the offer. I don’t want to add extra work. I’ll uninstall and reinstall the plugin first. Could be that one of the files got lost during the last update.

I’ll let you know. If it still does not work it would be nice if you could have a look.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I uninstalled the plugin and installed it again. Activated everything and started sharing. Post were shared on both Twitter and Facebook. Looks like it’s working. I also saw rop_cron_job back in the cron events.

If tomorrow post are shared it’s back to normal again.

    Thanks
