    Hi DJosephDesign ??

Thank you, we appreciate your feedback! We can definitely understand your perspective on this. The reason we originally went with the top level menu item instead of a submenu item was mainly for design purposes, more specifically we wanted show the blue hat turbo menu item and icon in a prominent place where people would easily find it and access it, but if we can still have the menu item show in the submenu with its icon, then we could definitely look into moving it there, but if we are not able to show our menu icon there along with the menu item, then our menu item would not be prominent enough for users to easily find it and access it, so we may not want to move it to the sub section, but this is great feedback and we will definitely look into this! Thank you for bringing it to our attention! We will look into this further and if it makes sense design wise, and usability wise, then we will implement it in the next upcoming release ??

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Thank you ??

I think usability should trump visibility of your logo. In fact, your logo will mean almost nothing to most people.

Using a colored logo on a top-level admin menu for something that doesn’t need it just clutters the WordPress interface and makes it less beautiful.

I think it’s far better to put plugins’ settings under settings as WordPress users learn that if they want to change settings, they go to the Settings section. Moving Blue Hat CDN out of this breaks that convention for your sole purpose of wanting to show your logo.

We can definitely understand your point on that, but its not just our logo. Its an icon and identity for the plugin which helps people to easily identify where it is and have it easily accessible, so its not just because we want to show our logo because we want to be fancy, we want to make sure its in a prominent place and is nice on the eyes from a design perspective. The icon is the plugins identity, it brings attention to the menu item when it has an icon as opposed to it being a hidden text menu item which is not as pretty or apparent for some users, but WE DO definitely understand your perspective and we do understand that wordpress plugins usually have the menu item under the settings submenu, so we will look into this further, and if it makes sense from a design and usability perspective then we will make the necessary changes ??

We appreciate your feedback! Please feel free to let us know if we can be of further assistance, thank you!

Daniel, we took this suggestion to our developers and decision makers and they said it makes sense from a user’s perspective so the menu item has been moved under the Settings menu in new version 2.1 of Blue Hat Turbo as well ?? Thanks again for your suggestion!
