Doesn't load previous image field content

    Hi Anders,

    Thanks for the excellent work you’ve done on this plugin.

    I’m having an issue with changing previously existing image fields to image crop fields. Here’s the deal:

    1) I’ve got a previously existing standard acf image field with an image already selected on the edit page.

    2) I change that image field to an image crop field.

    3) I reload the edit page and still see the previously selected image in the back end, but clicking the “crop” button does not show the image…just a blank gray area. Also, the previously selected image does not show on the front end anymore.

    4) To make it work I have to delete the image from the field and then select it again manually, then everything works as expected.

    I’ve got a lot of image fields already in play on the site in question that I’d like to change to image crop fields. It would take a fair bit of time to sort through them all, manually deleting and reloading every image. Is there a fix to allow previously selected images within an image field to still work if that field is changed to an image crop?

    Any thoughts on this? I actually have a number of existing client sites that would benefit from this plugin, but it’s essential that any existing image fields retain their content when changed to image crop fields. I’d love to know if this is possible, and if not I’d appreciate knowing that too.

    Migrating from standard image fields to crop fields, has been improved in version 1.4.2.

    Thanks Anders! Much appreciated. Now, when changing an existing image field to a crop field, the image can be cropped without having to delete/reselect it. Nice. ??

    However, from what I can tell, images still do not show on the front end until you actually crop them. In other words, if you have an existing image field populated with an image, when you change that to a crop field the image will not show on the front end until you crop it.

    Is there a way to make that happen? Thanks again for this rocking plugin!
