    What update did you install? Was it for our plugin or WordPress in general?
    What kind of images are you trying to compress?

    The update was for the plugin.
    And there’s no error. The plugin counts the compress as well, but I still; see the button to execute the compress.

    That sounds very strange. If possible, could you enable debugging in WordPress so we can see what is going on? You can send the .log file to [email protected].
