The Page post type doesn’t have support for taxonomies by default. If you’ve added support for it (in your theme or with a plugin ) the shortcode should just work with it. For the widget you can add some code so you can select the Page post type in the widget.

Just wanted to let you know, in the latest version the plugin detects if pages have taxonomies.

Your review got me thinking this should be implemented.
