Doesn’t duplicate Variations in WC products

  • Hi there,
    I was gleefully using your plug-in to quickly clone WooCommerce products in bulk. But sadly I have now discovered the Variations don’t get cloned.
    Is that intentional, or bug, or simply not a feature of your otherwise excellent plug-in?

    Is there any chance you’ll be adding this feature?

    Using your plug-in to clone a bulk selection of Products, without “(Copy)” being added to their titles and slugs, and without having to do them one by one, is far better than the “Duplicate” product feature WooCommerce comes with. But, alas, without variations also included on the cloned product, it’s not much use.

    sorry for the delay in replying to your post!

    You’re right, variations are not cloned. Work on compatibility with WooCommerce slowed down when they introduced their own duplication command, but I understand that the Duplicate Post features can be useful for stores of a certain size.

    I can’t tell for sure that we’ll work in that direction but this is something that will be evaluated for a future version.
