Doesn't collapse in Chrome

When used in a narrow (let’s say 250px wide) window, the menu collapses (items break into new rows under each other) in Firefox, but in Chrome they stay in one line.
This effectively prevents any responsive template from functioning.Thanks in advance for taking a look!
