In generally, you should always make a support post FIRST and then a review, otherwise you look like you’re trying to blackmail developers for support. I doubt that’s the case here, but I thought you should know, since many other developers get quite irate when you do it this way. I’m pretty resigned to it ??
The plugin is pretty upfront about where it has issue. It can, and does, back up full sites, but in situations where a site is over 750megs on a shared server, it can behave quite poorly. If you do happen to have a ‘large’ site (over 2G) then it absolutely cannot back up the files, as that’s a hard limit in PHP and currently outside my control.
How big is your wp-content folder, and what kind of server (shared, VPS, managed, dedi) are you on?
