Doesn’t appear on Twenty Seventeen front page

Hello, I’m using the front page with sections in the Twenty Seventeen theme and I’d love the Easy Portfolio thumbnails to be a part of that single page but when I link to the portfolio page nothing appears at all on the front page. How can I fix this? Thanks!
