I set up blog2social and it works great.

But when my client logs in, even with admin user level, the blog2social buttons do not appear. How do I fix this?

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

May I ask you which buttons do not appear for your client?
Please be so kind as to send me a screenshot so I can take a closer look at this for you.

Blog2Social works WordPress user-based which means that all settings and network connections can be defined for each WordPress user individually. Users that are not activated with your license key are automatically using the free version of Blog2Social.

I’m looking forward to your reply.

OK, so the free version can only have one user?

The missing buttons are on the Add/Edit post page, the ones that allow me to send the post to social media.

We are considering paying for the Smart version, but i want my client to be able to use it whereas I will install it and set it up, so is that going to be a problem?

    Hello,

    Thanks for your feedback.

Of course, the free version can have multiple users.
May I ask you if you are mentioning the following buttons?

You can edit those by clicking on “Preferences” -> “Panels”.

Please let me know if it worked out for you or send me screenshots of what is missing so I can check this for you.

    Yes, those buttons.

I need to log in with my client’s user account to change that setting for them so they see the buttons too?

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply and your feedback.

As there may be a misunderstanding regarding licenses and user roles, I would like to ask whether you have activated your Blog2Social license for the individual WordPress users. A screenshot would also be very helpful in order to be able to check your preferences settings and the visible post/page sidebar is shown in your WordPress installation. Would you please be so kind as to provide us with both screenshots?

Please note that the sidebar option itself for the “Blog2Social: Auto-Poster” can be used by your users as soon as you activate them individually with your Blog2Social premium license.

All other WordPress users are Free Blog2Social users by default and can use the “Custom Sharing & Scheduling” option as soon as a page/post was published in your WordPress environment.

Thank you for your effort and understanding.

I am using the free version, at present. Thinking about buying the paid version.

Which settings do you need me to screenshot?

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply and your feedback.

Please be so kind as to provide us with screenshots showing the view of your buttons for the preferences/settings you are referring to and of your other WordPress user’s view.

In general, these are options that should be available by default for every user role on WordPress.

Are you using external WordPress plugins to manage what a user can see or access on WordPress? If so please make sure to avoid limiting the Blog2Social plugin, so it can work as intended.

Please also let us know which WordPress version you are currently using and which Blog2Social plugin version is currently installed on your WordPress environment, so we could look further into this for you.
