    Hi,

I can see there are many articles on Yoast website introducing the Rich Snippet. And Yoast said “Yoast SEO has now stepped in to help you add valid structured data by automatically generate the most important data in the background.” in this article https://yoast.com/rich-results-everywhere/ . So is there a way to control the rich snippet generated by Yoast.

For example, I want to add a Product Schema in JSON-LD format, which should contain aggregateRating section with values inputted by myself. How to do so?

    Thanks

All of our schema output can be changed, managed and extended. You or your developer can learn more here: https://developer.yoast.com/schema-documentation/

Thank you. So it seems one must use your Schema API to change, manage and extend your schema output?

    Hi,

That is correct. Note that, there’s a difference between the support we can offer and the level of programming needed to change (core) features of our plugin. Since we don’t want to take the risk that we break your website by suggesting incorrect or incomplete code, we cannot advise you on how to make such changes. And even though we cannot be of any assistance, you’re completely free to change anything in the plugin to better suit your needs.

If needed, we highly recommend checking out the Yoast supported partners here:?https://yoast.com/yoast-partners/.?

We will also keep this thread open for another week in case someone from the community can chime and provide assistance with custom coding needs.
