Does wpForo install WPForms Lite?

    Hi – I recently installed wpForo on a clean install. Today I noticed that WPForms Lite is also installed on this site. Does installing wpForo also install WPForms Lite?

    Hi @boardboss,
    No it doesn’t. WPForm is a form builder plugin, and it doesn’t have any relation to the wpForo forum plugin.

    Thanks so much for the prompt reply, and the confirmation. I didn’t think so, but then I have no idea where the WPForm plugin came from. Not from a theme or any other plugin that I can see. Cheers!

    @gvectors-team A quick follow-up that might help others in the future if they find this thread.

    As it turns out, there was a plugin called WP Mail SMTP that had been installed and removed. Why an SMTP plugin would install a forms plugin is a mystery to me, except that since the same company also offers the forms package, maybe it is a little creative “advertising”? In any case, I do not like plugins that sneak other plugins onto a site like that. ??
