Does WP 3.7 Auto Update Plugins Too?

I need to update to the latest version of WP 3.8 but still concerned about the 3.7 update which mentioned updates are automatically installed. Does this just auto-update WP versions or does it also auto-update new versions of plugins as well? I have a few plugins I don’t want auto-updated and would rather see those version changes and manually update.
