Does WordPress count natively?

    Does this plugin count views only when installed or can it count views already in the WP database? WordPress counts post views by itself, right? I have a widget that counts these views. Would like something that doesn’t start views from zero.

    Hello @gwkopy ,

    WordPress core does not store post or page view counts, so there is no data to populate the page view totals when you install a counter plugin.

    Our Page Views Count does give you the ability to enter any start number you want from the Post or Page editor. But that has to be done manually.
