• Hi, I have just upgraded to WordPress 2.7 recently but when I typed simplified Chinese in my posting and clicked on update post or save draft, the wordings just appeared like this ‘?????.’

Does anyone here know how to rectify this? Would appreciate anyone who could help me on this. Many thanks in advance.

    Best Regards,
    BK

Hi Samboll, sorry for the late reply. Just managed to check your reply. Pardon me for the confusion. I do not mean using WordPress 2.7 in simplified Chinese language. My post is usually in English but in some post, I want to enter Chinese Character but when I entered the Chinese Character and I clicked update post, the Chinese Character will appear like ‘?????.’

For example, 卓锦万黛兰 (this is an orchid name in simplified Chinese) would appear as ‘?????.’

I have searched the link that you provided but I was not able to find the right solution.

In my previous version 2.1, I just typed in the Chinese Character and saved and it was able to appear correctly without any additional plugin install.

Thank you for your support and I look forward to your reply again.

    Best Regards,
    BK
