Does WooThemes block the embedding of videos?

I am trying to rebuild a website for series of documentary shorts and was using a demo version of WooThemes’ “Newsport.”

Everything was going just fine until I tried to embed some videos from YouTube and Current.com. I can’t get into WooThemes forums to ask this question because I haven’t paid for a theme, and so far nobody from the company has responded to my question via e-mail.

I simply can’t believe that company would build such elaborate themes and block the embedding of YouTube code? I’m not an expert at this, but I’m not a novice either. I simply cannot embed a video.
