Does WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway require an SSL Certificate?

The WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway does indeed require an SSL certificate and won’t work without one as you’re using it to process card payments on your site.

It’s mentioned in the FAQ here – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#section-7 and you’re prompted for one when you’re setting up the plugin.

We should definitely include it in the FAQ here as well for the sake of clarity. Thanks for pointing that out.
