    Hi!

I want to use a shortcode inside a widget created with the Widget Builder, is this possible?

I’m trying to use an element template: [elementor-template id="944"]

With the shortcode enabled I can apply this technique:
    https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/5679#issuecomment-575602764

    [lcg title1=”Hello”][elementor-template id=”944″][/lcg]

To edit the fields mapped inside the template, this will be a game changer, create a template, map the parameters and change the values with the Widget Builder.

    Can you help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

In fact it works in Frontend, what doesn’t work is in Elementor Builder, there will always appear the Shortcode instead of the rendered content as in the frontend:

How can we render live in Backend/Elementor Builder, too?

And also enable DynamicTag for the fields, this is essential!

    Hello @ofmarconi ,
Thanks for reaching out to us!

The Main purpose of the Widget builder is to create custom Widgets using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. But if you want to use Shortcode there, You will be able to do so.

But, I would like to let you know that only the HTML-type elements will be Render properly on the Editor. In the case of Shortcode, Widget Builder will only allow you to make the Parameter of the Shortcode dynamic so that you can easily change the value from the editor. When you are adding a Shortcode on the HTML section with or without Tags, that will be inserted as plain text as the shortcode is not an HTML Type Element.

For that reason, the Shortcode you are adding to the Widget builder is appearing as plain text on the Editor instead of the actual template. I hope you can understand the matter. Since the feature of rendering Shortcodes isn’t been added yet in the Widget builder, it is taken as a feature request. Based on the user demand, We will add this feature in the future update of our plugin.

If there is anything else you need help with, please let me know.

    Best Regards,
