• Simple and effective. Cannot understand why people have voted this down. The plugin is great for ensuring teaser lengths.

  • Take a look at the bottom of each page of your blog/website.

The “Auto More Tag” Plugin – Hijacked Space on my Website. Mr Weston was kind enough to add this text and link to every page of my website(s) where I used his “Auto More Tag”

“PHP/MySQL Components, WordPress Plugins, and Technology Opinions at TravisWeston.com”

Just go into the plugin settings (Settings->Auto More Tag) and set the option “Give Credit Where Credit is Due?” to “No”.

If this works for you, it’s a Good Thing to tip the author of the plugin using the donation button on the same page.

I finally did figure that out. I was equally surprised that “giving credit” led me to a blog by the author that seemed to have nothing to do with the plugin.

He also had the “Give credit” defaulted on which is against the rules.

    I will leave it uninstalled.

The author has updated the plugin to fix this issue and all is well again. I updated/reinstalled it and all is well.
