    Also thank you for your feedback. Please note that WP Smush optimizes image thumbnails as well (smaller versions of that image that are used in most cases on your site). The reason I’m saying this is that in a lot of cases these smaller thumbnails are actually less than 1mb so they will get smushed regardless of the original image size if that makes sense ??

    Yeah, I understand that.
    I am just saying the original images which are greater than 1 mb, when opened might take a long time to open unless they are losslessly compressed.
    If you would have allowed that as well, I would not have to do it manually.
    Not a big deal tough. ??
