• The plugin does what it says.

    At no fault of its own, it is an enormous tax on load time.
    (blame Facebook for that.. pretty typical if social media inserted iframes.. which is why I’m looking forward to the nixing of iframes as a standard way of “importing” data for display).

    Yeah, unfortunately we’re at the mercy of Facebook’s script. Whether they serve it in 100ms or 2 seconds is on them. ??

    I’ve seen some pretty interesting services pop up that scrape the data and let you pull it into your own code. Imagine a custom widget that just pulls the JSON. Pretty cool stuff & I hope some people build cool things with it.

    That ought to be the norm right about.. two years ago. Agreed? I wish I had the time to focus on developing this kind of thing.
