Does too many redirects cause a problem?

  • I have maybe 400 redirects using this plugin.
    My website keep crashing.
    It’s a nothing website with zero traffic.

    Does the fact that I have 400 redirects cause a problem?

    This is the message I get from a website monitor I use:

    “Business Name
    DOWN at Jun 08 2021 05:18 PM (EU/Western)
    Err: Number of redirects hit maximum amount
    Notes: Hyperspin: Business Name”

    I changed ‘Business Name’ from real info above.

    I use the 301 redirects loads – and want to have 1000’s!
    But can’t use if it’s a problem somehow?
