Does this work with BuddyPress installed?

    Hello,

    I uploaded a document – a .pdf – and I have no idea how my users are supposed to see it?

    If I go directly to the link of the doc, it just opens in the browser with no “download” option.

    If I put a shortcode on a page it just gives me the “download” button – but no title or description of the document.

    Is there a way that my users can see all the documents, from the front end – maybe all on one page – with a title/description, but be required to login to download?

    ps…I looked on the plugins homepage but could find no mention of this plugin anywhere – is it still being supported?

    Did you use the fancy option when you entered the shortcode on the page? The fancy option shows the title, thumbnail and description with the download now button.

    I just copied the whole thing listed under the “Shortcode” section:
    [sdm-download id=”16053″ fancy=”0″]

    What are the different fancy options? I couldn’t find any support so I’m not sure what that is or how to change it.

    There is a shortcode inserter that you can fine when you are editing your WordPress post or page.

    Anyway, use the following shortcode to use the fancy download now template:

    [sdm-download id=”16053″ fancy=”1″]
