You can look at my sile and you can see that there is a problem with margines in HomePage. I currently ust version 5.36 but I have the same problem in new version. Can you check why three topics from “nasz oferta” and for film from “firma” are not at the same level (the same line) in HomePage?

OK I installed the latest version of Enigma (6.0.5) and also updated Weblizar companion.
The template option was there so I set it.
I followed the rest of the instructions to the letter.
I am using Blog lay-out for my Home page.
So I imported the settings and this worked partly.
For example the mail address and phone number that are in the header are reinstated.
But all the sliders that you can see on my Home page on the live site are not there.
The lay-out of my last posts is also incorrect. There is a sidebar so it looks like it is using the archive lay-out?

Another undesired effect is that I need to do this fixing on every multi site that uses Enigma!
You can guess this is quite a disappointment.
I am using Enigma for years now and was already disappointed that you did not want my input as a free user (I could not get registered on the forum as such) to improve your theme (for example it still contains some errors where strings are not translated so I had to put that into my child theme)
So please fix these things otherwise I have no other option then switch theme.

Please confirm that you follow these steps to set your homepage.

Create new page from Pages->Add New, Give it a name ( Home )
Then through ‘Page Attributes’ options select ‘Template’ as ‘Home Template’.
Then go to Settings->Reading->Your homepage displays, Click on ‘A static page
(select below)’ then select ‘Home’ as ‘Homepage’.

if you do this with Version: 6.0.5 then your homepage comes with slider, services and portfolio sections( With default data ). if yes, after this you have to do all steps with weblizar plugin and import actions from Import/Export tab in Version: 6.0.5.

Please provide us screenshots of your homepage with enigma Version: 6.0.5. so we can understand the issue.
with your screenshot we are able to help you out easily.

I now see the misunderstanding! In version 5.36 my configuration for home page was set to latest posts (already for years). I now get that same lay-out in 6.0.5 by setting it to static page and selecting the newly created Home page with Home template! Why this difference in approach?
Is this somewhere in the documentation for the update? Because I totally missed that!

So I will now go on and test it with my child theme’s updates and report back.

BTW I am still willing to supply you with the theme parts that have fixed text strings instead of translatable ones!

Although I think this is not the proper place to report translation errors in theme Enigma (you really should allow me to have some official access to the proper forum for this) I am reporting them still:

I see you have fixed some of them as I am analyzing in detail.

But even more problematic: I updated my Enigma Child theme with the code I want changed.
As soon as I activate my child theme all settings are gone. Re-importing does not help!
So how can I reinstate my home page and settings while using a child theme?

@harm10 : please share me your CHILD-THEME and PARENT THEME with in a ZIP file. You might have changed the files of the themes incorrectly.

I imagined that you would want to see what I have changed……….. ??
So to get around that I minimized the changes in the child theme.
Still the settings are gone (not all of theme but the details are gone like phone number, header set-up, slider set-up etc. etc.
Detail posts and pages look almost fine (some styling issues)

I want to send you zips but where can I sent those?

I also did not see a reaction yet to me saying that you need to do this for all sub sites that are in a multi site and that use Enigma even when you have network activated the theme. Also a big disadvantage that in my view you need to come up with a solution for.

And how about those translation misses?

That site needs registering and I am not going to do that.
The zip file is only 3 Mb. Can’t I just mail it somewhere?

I have my own multi site with just 2 sites using Enigma. But suppose someone has a larger site that is used by different users (e.g. students) surely there should be a better way of updating all themes in one go? After all it is not only needed for Enigma but for other of your themes as well.
