Does this work in multi site?

This does not answer my question. I obviously use theme Enigma (free version) on my multi site.
So I ask again: should this work on a multi site installation?

Or is there maybe another way to reinstate my Home page on such an installation?

Can you please answer my question? Now I cannot upgrade my Enigma theme (free version) as I loose my Home page and the entire site goes blank.

I hope this plug-in has better support than the free version of Enigma?

Currently I am still using Enigma 5.36 as the update to 6 breaks my site’s Home page.
I have activated this plug-in on the site within my multi site where I use Enigma but do not see any Import tab for Home page.
Should I see that in this configuration combination? Or should I network activate this plug-in?

OK I did. Nothing changed in my sub site.
Then I installed this plug-in update to version 1.1.4
This made a new tab in Appearance.
I used it to export my data.
Then I updated Enigma to version 6.0.5
My site home page was broken again.
I imported the data to no avail.
As I am using a child theme I activated the regular theme to get a working Home page (although not the one I previously had with Last posts but this will probably need some customizing as does my child theme to get it all working again)

The need of activating it on network level should be documented somewhere or even better show this right away when installing the plug-in?

btw The import/export screen has a text “Import Your Previous Data From Older versions( below 4.0.1 ) to New Version.”
I have no idea which version this 4.0.1 relates to?

I lost my site after hen I updated plugins. I sam your information I can restore my site but I do not know where exactly I have to go and what I have to do to change it. Could you send me a cery precisious information please.

I am sorry it wasi’t plugin it was new version of Enigma.

You need this plug-in to “repair” your home page when you are using one of the themes of Weblizar like Enigma.
If you have a child theme active you need to check that too.
I will post my results as soon as I did that.

i am from weblizar support team.
Sorry for inconvenience, i setup the network environment on my system to test the issue as you told us. but on my system i didn’t face any issue regarding restore the previous version theme ( Enigma Below 6.0.4 version ) data to new version theme ( Enigma above 6.0.4 version ). Everything works fine for me.

So, please can you describe us what steps did you do for restoring your old theme to new theme.
please describe it and it would be helpful if you attached screenshots with them so we can understand it better and we can help you out very soon.

So I compared my child theme’s templates with the current ones in Enigma 6.0.5
I activated my Enigma child theme after comparing and updating with the main theme to have no errors anymore but……… the lay-out and settings are all gone! If I set the home page to last posts I get a single post screen!
So not only your home page gets mixed up but also the settings are mostly lost!
For example what images I use in the slider.
So I reverted back to 5.36 and reverted my child theme’s updates as well.
Luckily the whole site is back together with all its settings!
I am doing this on a test site to make sure that the updates will work.

Can you please first explain in much detail how to export and import my settings so I do not loose parts of them?

Follow these steps from scratch to restore your settings.!!
1. First you need to setup homepage, for this follow bellow steps
1. Create new page from Pages->Add New, Give it a name ( Home )
2. Then through ‘Page Attributes’ options select ‘Template’ as ‘Home Template’ and
publish it.
3. Then go to Settings->Reading->Your homepage displays, Click on ‘A static page
(select below)’ then select ‘Home’ as ‘Homepage’.
4. For Blog Page go to Settings->Reading->Your homepage displays, Click on ‘A static
page (select below)’ then select your ‘Blog page’ as ‘Posts page’. ( Optional Step )
5. Then save it.!!

2. Then you need to install our plugin ‘Weblizar Companion’ its required to recover your data.
3. After installing our plugin ‘Weblizar Companion’, you can see a new tab option in Appearance tab.
4. Then go to Appearance->Import/Export, from here you can restore your previous home template data ( If exist in Database )
5. Just Click the Import button and it’s done.!!
6. It will show you a success message means your data is restored successfully.!!

Thanks for your description but I cannot complete it.
First of all I am now working with the regular theme (so I deactivated the child theme for the time being) to make sure the problem does not arise from elsewhere.

Point “Then through ‘Page Attributes’ options select ‘Template’ as ‘Home Template’” fails.
That option Home Template is not there.
The only options available are “Standard, Full width and Page with left sidebar.
(Remember that I am back on Enigma version 5.36)

So what is wrong?
