I’m using WP multisite to create a set of networked blogs (configured as subdomains) that each provide a different part of a seamless user experience. So I need the user to be and to log in one to the network subdomains one time… and have SSO access to various other of the multisite subdomains without logging into each seperately.

Does this work in a way that provides that experience?

    Hi @pappaj333,

I don’t think WP SAML Auth will do quite what you need. WP SAML Auth acts as a bridge between WordPress and a SAML identity provider. It will only set authentication cookies if the user visits wp-login.php.

One thing worth noting: if your network blogs are all subdomains of the primary domain, then a user signing into bloga.example.com will have authentication cookies for blogb.example.com too.

If you’re planning to map custom domains to each blog, then something like Mercator could help to set the authentication cookies.

    Hope this helps!
