Does this support WP multi-site setup

  • I use this as my members map for my main site and i have another site in which i wanted to set this up the same way. However i am waiting because i really dont want another WP setup to have to update. So i was wondering if this supports multi-site.

    What i would do is in multi-site i would have both of my sites and then have this plugin active on both sites. And then embed the map on my sites main pages.

    However i am curious if this will work with one install of this plugin in that environment

    //completely seperate data ie visitors and such

  • I am not using the maxmind map or Geolocation database/services. I am only using the “who’s online” and “who’s been online” functionality.

    I was able to successfully install the app on a multi-site install but would certainly lean on Mike C to chime in for support.

    When I installed the plugin, visitor-map fields where entered into my “_options” table for the parent site and my child site IE “_8_options”.

    I renamed the 3 tables created by the plugin to include the multi-site id number in the table name. I also removed the visitor-map references from the multi-site parent “_options” table.
