Possibly. Relevanssi can expand shortcodes, but there may be complications from the table plugin. TablePress, for example, works, but only because Relevanssi includes some compatibility code for TablePress.

The best way to know is to give it a go and see if it works.

Thanks – i can give it a go – is the free version ok or are there premium versions with extra features? If Relevanssi does work with popular Table manager plugins it is worth promoting that feature, and perhaps improving it to work with more than Tablepress. It seems to be a weakness with other search plugins.

Free version is enough for testing this.

I tested wpDataTables and looks like Relevanssi can index the table contents fine. Ninja Tables also works.

TableManager is a premium plugin, so I can’t try that.

Search works well with Tablepress and WPDataTables – great but not with WP Table Manager. I have reported this to their support team but it would be great if you could get together to get the products to integrate. A definite competitive advantage for both plugins

Ah, I see Table Manager is by Joomunited. I’ve cooperated with them before, I made another plugin of theirs compatible with Relevanssi. If they can provide me with a test copy of Table Manager, I can look at this.

Have you tried Table Manager with Gutenberg? That might work better, as Relevanssi uses the same block rendering as WordPress does when displaying the pages.
