    Hello,
Thank you for this powerful plugin. Comments are disabled in my blog, so I won’t receive any spam there. I added a bootstrap form in a modal using wp_mail, I secured it by php strip_tags and today I added antispambot function to my codes. I am not receiving spam as much, but some malicious emails. I installed your plugin, but I am not sure if it is adding more security to my form. Would you please give me some feed back.
    Thank you for your time.

    Best,
    Azi

    Hi Azi,

    You’re welcome. ??

WP-SpamShield will protect your site from spam on the following:

    • Comments
    • Trackbacks & Pingbacks
    • Contact Forms – To enable this, users need to use WP-SpamShield’s built-in contact form. It does not protect contact forms from other plugins.
    • User Registration Spam – This protects WordPress’s default registration page (wp-login.php?action=register).

    Have a good one.

    Hi Azi,

I just wanted to follow up. In version 1.8.9.9 we added improved support for other contact forms, so WP-SpamShield does now provide improved protection for many other contact forms, including Contact Form 7 and Gravity Forms.

    Have a good one.
