Yes this plugin supports recurring billing either through the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin or using the subscription module provided in this plugin.

If you use the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin there are detailed instructions on how to setup subscriptions on the WooCommerce documentation site.

Also, I don’t see “Braintree Subscription” in the product data choices even after activating this plugin, what could be the cause?

No, the PayPal integration is through Braintree so it uses the Braintree API keys.

You must activate the subscription module by going to the Advanced Settings > Subscription Settings and clicking the enable checkbox.

I am already using the official plugin, but I will seriously consider switching to this one.
It would be great if you could support Japanese, but I can’t say I’m a luxuryist. LOL!

If you’re already using another Braintree plugin then it’s assumed you have a Braintree account yes?

You will need to contact Braintree support regarding their support of Japanese companies as we can’t speak to that as plugin developers.

The official plugin is for PayPal payments, not Braintree.
