Does this plugin support Images in the sitemap?

My site is very content+image heavy. 80+ images per post (unique). Using Yoast’s SEO plugin but his sitemap doesn’t list the correct # of images. Does Google XML Sitemaps include an image count like Yoast’s plugin? If not, would this be a detriment at all?
