Does this plugin play nice with popular cache plugins?

    Other poll plugins say they play nice with cache plugins like WP Fastest Cache, total cache, etc… but we have not found that to be the case. How about TotalPoll? Is it easy to exclude TotalPoll polls from the cache? The problems usually occur because of “live update” vote counts via Ajax JS… so WP Fastest Cache has a few ways of excluding content as you can see, so one of those methods would have to be compatible with TotalPoll…

    Hi @wordmax ,

    We are aware of the caching challenges regarding polls and having live information displayed. That’s why we have built an option called “Asynchronous loading” where TotalPoll reloads itself (using AJAX) to indicate the number of votes and other aspects.

    We are also considering other options like fragment caching and making the poll widget completely dynamic by leveraging a REST API instead of relying on the rendered poll.
