    Hello,

This seems to be what we have been looking for: to hook WP content into our e-commerce site. Before we proceed I’d like to be more sure with what this is and if this could mean any disruption to our site:

    • Is this like a plug to the PS Theme Provider add-on to feed WP posts into contents visible in the e-commerce site? i.e. the head content, sidebars, header, footer etc are those of the e-commerce site, and that the visitor/user can always navigate to and from the WP content within that site?
    • Can the blog has its own navigation menu underneath the e-commerce site menu?
    • Would other WP functionality and plugins be compatible as long as they stay within the blog area?
    • Would there be widget etc for the e-commerce site to show WP contents, such as recent posts, thumbnails, etc and vice versa: plugins to show the shop content such as related products etc in the blog?
    • Now, you require that the WP be installed in a sub-directory of the e-commerce site. Can the WP content be hooked into other sites and viewed from there? Or can the content be visible as a standalone? Does it has to be unhooked from the e-commerce site before achieving that? Or can that be simultaneous?
    • Is this, and the PS Theme Provider add-on, in compliance with the respective WP and PS platform?
    • Is there a demo site for this plugin?

Thanks in advance for the answers and I look forward to employing this.

    Hi Flyhead,

Sorry for not answering for such a long time. We are processing all the support requests through our customer area at inveostore.com and we did not receive a notification of your post.

    To your questions:
    1) Yes. It connects to the PS Theme Provider module and fully integrate WP to PS with all you’ve said.
    2) Yes.
    3) All other WP plugins will work 100% (that’s actually the point: PrestaShop as well as WordPress stay fully compatible and files stay unmodified).
    4) You can do so by using PrestaShop “RSS feed block” and filling-up WordPress RSS feed URL (https://example.com/blog/feed/).
    5) I am not sure if we fully understood but the answer is no.
    6) Yes. We take a special care of WP and PS coding standards.
    7) Demo site is available at https://www.inveostore.com/blog/ and you can see other featured web sites that use this plugin with a great success at https://www.inveostore.com/info/featured-websites-6

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask us.
