• Does this add the category to the permalink structure like it would if it were a post instead?

I’m using the /%category%/%postname%/ custom structure in the permalink settings.

    Hi.

Unfortunately it will not be added.

    Hmm…

Looking for a plugin that adds categories to pages, and get them into the permalink structure too – just like with posts and WOO products.

    Anyone?

I’ve been using this plugin for years, but it has stopped working. So I’m wondering about an alternate that adds categories to the permalink structure. Please post if you’ve found something, Marc.

The page’s permalink structure uses the parent page.

The idea of the permalink structure is different for posts and pages.

Create a parent page with a name like the category name and create a child page that belongs to it.
This will create a permalink structure similar to the post page.

I’ve decided to go with the pages permalink structure created by parent-child relationships; that is what @back2nature suggests too.

It is a pity that page and post permalink structures don’t work the same way, but I guess it is what it is…
