I have a video header that autoplays for chrome and firefox but not safari. It seems to be an issue a lot of people have encountered.

I read that Hestia Pro has a built in option for a video header, and I was wondering, does it also work on Safari? Just the PC version, I don’t need it to work on Mobile.

I rather just update to Hestia pro if it does work than try to figure out all the code own my own. Much more cost efficient for the client.

A sidenote is I tried to find some information on Hestia Pro pricing but the themeisle site seems to be having some issues.

Thank you so much for your time!

  • Hi @calimer,

    Thanks for choosing Hestia!

Yes, the autoplay for the video background from the Big Title Section works in Safari too, as well as other browsers like Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

    Have a nice day!

Thank you so much for the response!! And so if you go to the website I have linked – would be able to have it in the background just like I have it on that page? I imagine the answer would be yes – but having the bonus of it working in safari too.

@calimer Yes, the autoplay should work as it does on that site.
