    Hello,

I’ve installed Google site kit on my website, and connected GA4 Property
I need to know when it will stop processing data from the website to the google analytics?, so if i logged out from the plugin after connecting the website, it will sop processing data?

or it will stop processing data if i deactivated the plugin?

i need to know exactly when the plugin will stop processing data? so the google analytics cannot collect data? or cause a data loss?
logging out from the plugin? or disconnecting my account from the plugin?
    or deactivating the plugin?
    or disabling the plugin?

and kindly provide any info i can understand about this process specially logging out and data loss.

Thanks for getting in touch @mukape. After you connect Site Kit and allow the plugin to place your Google Analytics snippets, data will remain connecting as long as the plugin remains activated. You can check that the Google Analytics snippet remains active by reviewing your sites source code at any stage, looking specifically for the Google Analytics code snippets placed by the plugin.

With regards disconnecting your Google account from the plugin the snippets will remain active, however, you won’t be able to view data within the Site Kit dashboard if you disconnect your Google account from Site Kit. Data is, however, still being collected (as the snippets remain).

When you logout of your site, data is still being collected in Analytics, and you can view your Analytics data within Site Kit each time you decide to login to the website once more.

So to summarize, after you set up Site Kit and connect Google Analytics, data will remain collecting for the connected GA4 property whether you logout or disconnect your Google account from the plugin. Only if you reset the plugin, deactivate or remove the plugin will data not be collected (as no GA4 snippet will be placed on your site).

Let me know if you have any further questions with the above.
