• Hi,

does your plugin provide some kind of template system so that we could overwrite it update-safe in a child theme? The background is: we neeed some customization of the swatches and would add more content to it. This is usually pretty simple. However, changing the core is, of course, not best practice. Now we are searching for a plugin that could be changed update-safe via the child theme.

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

I appreciate you reaching out to us.

As of now, our plugin doesn’t have any template system, and with all due respect, we don’t have any immediate plan to integrate such a feature.

Nevertheless, your feedback is valuable to us. If we see enough traction for this very feature in the future, we’ll certainly take this into consideration.

I sincerely hope you can understand our perspective on this matter.

    Best regards,

Thanks for the prompt reply. It doesn’t really need a sophisticated template system. In my humble opinion it should be best practice for plugins to make those parts overwritable that render the frontend view. Very often, this is only one single file that could easily be placed in the child theme folder.

    Thanks, Mike

    Hi @cutu234,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. ??

You can customize using WooCommerce hooks. In fact, if you could provide a screenshot along with the design you desire, we can suggest accordingly based on that.

    Best Regards,
