    Hello yiggory,

    The plugin works fine without an SSL certificate.

    However, it is in your best interest to install an SSL certificate on your website, otherwise the data sent from the browser of the customer to your server can be captured and stolen.

    Also, an SSL certificate is required to be PCI compliant.
