• Does the number of registered (mostly inactive) WordPress users affect website speed?

    Hello!

We have a membership site and there is a free 14 day course you can register for. When you register, you will be created a wordpress user with Uncanny Automator and you will also be added to a membership plan.

At the end of the 14 day course there will be customers, others will not buy. However, everyone will be a user on wordpress.

If there will be 10-20 thousand users in wordpress, 95% of whom are inactive, only registered at some point, will that slow down the site?

If so, is the solution to fill in the inactive users automatically with for example Uncanny automator? Or will there be some leftovers in the database and slow down the page? We use Kadence theme and Kadence blocks, good hosting, Litespeed cache, optimized images, Perfmatters. Thank you!
