Does the elementor builder delete existing Alt-Tags?

Does anyone have experience with alt-tags which seem to be overwritten (deleted) by elementor builder?
On our website, we set the alt tags in the media library as usually but since we use elementor builder, setting alt tags in the media library doesn’t seem to work any more.
