• I use MailChimp quite a bit with school sites where parents can subscribe to school communications based on their year group. One client was under the impression that the site I’d created her automatically sent out a MailChimp campaign when she uploaded a pdf to the Media Library!

I’ve explained to her that it doesn’t work like that currently, but that that would be a lovely facility and that I’d look into it.

Is anyone aware of an existing plugin out there (commercial?) that hooks into MailChimp and allows (auto) sending out simple notification campaigns (containing a link to, or the file itself) when file(s) are uploaded with a specific tag/keyword? i.e. as little intervention form the user as possible (a) upload file, b) assign tag/keyword/yeargroup c) hit send somewhere to send to relevant group within list).

Thought I’d ask here for starters. Appreciate any suggestions, maybe even using an alternative existing plugin that may be able to achieve this with some additional development.
